Chimney Tower, Bavaria
The chimney tower ensures the safe and efficient discharge of flue gases from production processes while meeting the highest environmental and safety standards. The planning phase included a detailed survey of the existing infrastructure and the development of a comprehensive concept for the new chimney tower. This involved both static calculations and dynamic analyses to guarantee the tower's stability and durability under varying wind and temperature conditions. The production process was optimized in close coordination with the manufacturing team, enabling efficient fabrication, transportation, and assembly of the tower without delays. Detailed workshop and assembly plans ensured each component was precisely manufactured and subsequently installed on-site. The chimney tower not only meets all technical requirements but also blends harmoniously into the industrial complex's surroundings.
Challenges
One of the major challenges of this project was managing the high wind loads caused by the site's exposed location and the chimney tower's height. The structural design was particularly demanding to ensure the required stability without compromising cost-effectiveness. Additionally, logistical challenges arose during production and transportation, as the large-sized components required special handling for shipping and assembly.
